Salary: £45,500
Shift Pattern: Rotating Earlies & Afternoons

We're recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business, working across a busy packaging environment.

This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased engineer who enjoys fault finding, keeping machinery running and getting involved with a mix of planned and reactive maintenance.

The Role

You'll be responsible for maintaining and fault finding across a range of packaging and production machinery.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics

• Working with sensors, relays, switches and electrical controls

• Maintenance of packaging and production machinery

• Planned preventative maintenance

• Reactive breakdown maintenance

• Identifying recurring faults and helping improve machine reliability

• Carrying out basic mechanical repairs where required

• Working closely with production to minimise downtime

What We're Looking For

Ideally you'll have:

• Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or a similar environment

• Strong electrical fault-finding skills

• Experience working with sensors, relays, switches and control systems

• Experience maintaining automated or packaging machinery

• A recognised electrical or engineering qualification

• The ability to carry out basic mechanical maintenance

Shift Pattern

The role operates on a rotating shift pattern:

Weeks 1 & 2:
Monday–Friday
6:00am–2:00pm

Weeks 3 & 4:
Monday–Thursday
2:00pm–12:00am

This means you'll also benefit from a four-day working week every other rotation.

• £45,500 salary
