About our client
To continue its strong track record, the Hamburg office is looking to expand its team. You will work in lean deal teams with significant responsibility from an early stage. The fund has an impressive, tight-knit team culture and is closely connected to its sister offices, offering all new joiners a solid, international environment to develop in. What the job involves
  • As an associate, you will join the deal team and be involved end-to-end across the deal cycle, from sourcing to deal structuring and execution
  • Focus on financial analysis and key due diligence workstreams
  • Build financial models (e.g. LBO models) and prepare investment committee materials
  • Coordinate external advisors during the due diligence process
  • Hands-on involvement in post-investment monitoring of the portfolio companies
Who we are looking for
  • Strong background in M&A from a reputable investment bank, strategy consulting or private equity
  • Excellent financial modelling skills and commercial judgement, as well as advanced people skills and a style that is effective with respect to medium-sized business owners
  • Strong work ethic, discipline, a balanced personality and room to grow
  • Business fluent in German and English
