The Opportunity: 

The Operations Analyst will support the day-to-day operational excellence of the Mattel Technology & Innovation Center (MTIC). Working closely with the Country Head, MTIC leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders, this role will help drive operational planning, governance, reporting, business analytics and cross-functional coordination to ensure effective execution of strategic and operational priorities.

The role will also partner with the Head – Workplace Operations, Experience & Corporate Services to support governance, executive reporting, workplace analytics, procurement and vendor administration, budget tracking, contract governance and continuous improvement initiatives. Working collaboratively across HR, Finance, Procurement, IT, Workplace Operations and other partner functions, the role will contribute to operational excellence, employee experience and efficient workplace service delivery.

• The Operations Analyst plays a key role in supporting the MTIC leadership team through effective operational governance, reporting and coordination. The role provides analytical and operational support across both MTIC Operations and Workplace Operations, Experience & Corporate Services, ensuring alignment of strategic priorities, operational initiatives and business processes.

  Operational Planning & Execution

• Support execution of MTIC strategic priorities and annual operating plans.
• Track key initiatives, milestones, risks, dependencies and action items to ensure timely execution.
• Maintain operational trackers and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Coordinate follow-through on leadership decisions and operational commitments.
• Support operational planning across Workplace Operations initiatives including Facilities, Security, Employee Mobility and Workplace Experience. 

• Governance & Cross-functional Coordination

• Coordinate governance meetings, leadership reviews and steering committee sessions.
• Prepare meeting agendas, capture minutes and track action items through closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Technology, HR, Finance, Procurement, IT, Workplace Operations and other partner functions.
• Support planning and coordination of leadership visits, business reviews and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain governance documentation, operating procedures and action trackers. 

• Executive Reporting & Communications

• Prepare executive dashboards, operational reports and leadership updates.
• Consolidate information from multiple stakeholders into concise, leadership-ready reports and presentations.
• Develop operational scorecards and KPI dashboards.
• Support preparation of executive briefings, business reviews and leadership presentations. 

• Business Analytics & Operational Excellence

• Build and maintain dashboards using Excel, Power BI or similar analytics tools.
• Analyze operational metrics, workplace KPIs and identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Generate actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
• Support budget and expense tracking, variance reporting and financial analysis.
• Support procurement administration, vendor governance, contract tracking and operational reporting for Workplace Operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis. 

• Workplace Operations Support

• Support governance across Facilities, Security, Employee Mobility and Workplace Experience.
• Track operational KPIs, service levels and vendor performance metrics.
• Coordinate procurement requests, contract administration and vendor documentation.
• Support workplace occupancy, utilization and sustainability reporting.
• Assist with audit readiness, compliance activities and policy documentation.

• Employee Engagement & Site Operations

• Support employee engagement initiatives, culture-building activities and workplace experience programs.
• Assist in planning and execution of leadership visits, town halls, employee events and site-wide operational initiatives.
• Coordinate operational logistics for meetings, workshops and special projects.
• Support initiatives that contribute to an exceptional employee experience across MTIC.
