Junior Cost Accountant

Overview.

Junior Accountants shall provide analytical and administrative support for reviews, reconciliations, and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum of 1 year and up to 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.

• Familiarity with Federal cost principles or willingness to learn 2 CFR Part 200 requirements.

• Ability to perform data analysis, reconciliations, and documentation support with attention to detail.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

General Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

• Ability to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.

• Experience supporting cost and financial transparency & maintaining documentation sufficient for Federal review.

• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance/credentials required to perform the job.
