The Role

• Manage the nursing schedule to ensure exceptional patient care is delivered.
• Identify improvements in the effectiveness of nursing department staffing in collaboration with nursing leaders.
• Advise supervisors of any issues or problems with the nursing schedule and staffing ratios.
• Ensure compliance of employee and scheduling files with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and distribute the nursing schedule to staff in a timely manner.
• Draft professional correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling, ideally within a hospital setting.
• Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data.
• Strong communication skills for coordination and advisement.
