Job Description

Senior Systems Engineer
Bristol
£48,000 - £53,000 + bonus and benefits

We're recruiting for aSenior Systems Engineerto a leading engineering business on a permanent basis.

Working within the systems engineering and product development teams, you'll play a key role across the full systems lifecycle - from requirements definition and system architecture through to integration, verification and validation.

You'll be involved in:
  • Developing and managing system requirements and architectures.
  • Applying Systems Engineering and MBSE methodologies.
  • Leading Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities.
  • Developing verification and test plans for new products and systems.
  • Ensuring designs meet requirements, standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Working closely with engineering, project and product development teams.
We're looking for:
  • A degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in Systems Engineering, Integration, Verification & Validation or a related engineering environment.
  • Experience with requirements, system architecture and verification/testing.
  • Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven engineering environment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of MBSE, INCOSE or ISO 15288 would be advantageous.
  • A structured, analytical approach with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
