Job Description

Fin, now part of Salesforce, is on a mission to help businesses provide perfect customer experiences.

Our AI Agent Fin is the highest-performing AI Customer Agent on the market today, enabling businesses to deliver impeccable, always-on customer support across the customer journey, from service, to sales, to ecommerce. Powered by our own AI models, Fin resolves complex customer issues end-to-end across every channel, with minimal set-up and integration. Fin can also be combined with our natively integrated Intercom help desk, giving modern support teams one single system.

Together with Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success, we're building the future of customer experience. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword, it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing, and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI.

Ready to level up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place. Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About this role

Our website is one of the most important ways people discover what we offer, understand our value, and decide whether to talk to Sales or start a trial. The Web Growth team owns its roadmap and continuously improves the journey from first impression through to lead capture, demo engagement, signup, and trial start.

You’ll treat the website like a product: understand user intent, find confusion and friction, form strong hypotheses, test them with users and data, and turn what you learn into better experiences.

You’ll be just as comfortable shaping the problem and influencing the roadmap as you are designing the final interaction, prototype, or page.

What you’ll be doing

  • Experimentation: Designing and iterating on experiments across landing pages, pricing, signup, and conversion flows to improve engagement, conversion, qualified leads, and trial starts.
  • Collaboration: Working with Growth, Self-serve, Brand, Marketing, Product, Data, Research, and Engineering to turn opportunities into clear, buildable experiences.
  • Data and insight: Using user insights and funnel data to identify opportunities, define hypotheses, and measure impact.
  • Product design: Applying product design thinking to comprehension, navigation, forms, interactive demos, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Prototyping and systems: Prototyping in Figma and code, using AI tools where useful, and working within shared components and brand systems.
  • Roadmap ownership: Bringing ideas to the Web Growth roadmap, not just executing briefs.

Must have experience

  • Experience: 5+ years in web, product, growth, or a closely related design role, with a strong portfolio of shipped, conversion-focused work.
  • Growth mindset: A track record of using design, growth frameworks, conversion rate optimisation, and funnel analysis to improve outcomes such as leads, conversion, trials, activation, or revenue.
  • Experimentation: Experience designing and iterating on experiments, including A/B tests or other data-informed approaches. B2B SaaS experience is a plus.
  • Craft and taste: Excellent visual and interaction design skills, with a sharp eye for typography, hierarchy, detail, and polish.
  • Systems and brand: Comfortable working within an existing design system and brand, while identifying opportunities to extend and improve it.
  • AI fluency: Experience using AI in your design practice, including tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Figma Make, or similar. You should be able to explain how AI has changed your workflow and what you have built or shipped with it.
  • Ownership: Able to take a brief and run with it. You work independently, make good decisions, ask the right questions, and bring solutions rather than just options.

Who this role is not for

This role is not for you if:

  • You only want to design campaign or marketing pages from a fixed brief. This role owns the journey from first visit through to lead, demo, signup, or trial.
  • You care about visual polish but not about comprehension, navigation, forms, interactive demos, or reducing friction.
  • You don’t want to work with funnel data, user research, experimentation, or the realities of implementation.
  • You want to focus on brand expression without balancing it with usability, accessibility, performance, and measurable growth.
  • You need a fixed roadmap and detailed requirements rather than identifying opportunities and shaping what the team should test next.
  • You’re not interested in working closely with Growth, Marketing, Product, Data, Research, and Engineering to make the website perform better.

What success looks like

You’ll know you’re successful if:

  • More visitors understand Fin and Intercom, find the right path for their needs, and take the next step with less friction.
  • You’ve improved meaningful growth outcomes across qualified leads, demo engagement, signups, and trial starts.
  • Experiments are well designed, clearly measured, and used to inform what the team does next.
  • You’ve made complex product value easier to understand and act on without relying on extra explanation from Sales or Marketing.
  • You’ve built strong working relationships with Growth, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, Research, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • You’ve raised the bar for web growth design through thoughtful, high-quality experiences that people trust and want to use.

Interview process

We understand that interviewing for a new role is both time- and energy-consuming. We aim to be thorough, speedy, and transparent in our approach.

You should expect the entire process to take no more than four weeks from start to finish. You’ll meet with members of our team and have the opportunity to validate that Intercom and the role are the right fit for you.

Ready to build something great?

If you’re excited by the opportunity to help existing businesses get more value from a self-serve product, and you have the craft, curiosity, commercial thinking, and autonomy to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
