Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Modem Software Engineer with strong expertise in cellular technologies, embedded systems, and L1/PHY layer development. In this role, you will contribute to the development, optimization, and commercialization of next-generation cellular modem software.

Key Responsibilities

• Support modem software development and commercialization for North American deployments
• Analyze logs from field/testing environments, debug issues, and implement fixes
• Contribute to new feature development, validation, and performance optimization
• Work on embedded software enhancements and identify improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end solution delivery

Required Skills

• Bachelor s/Master s/PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ (embedded systems)
• Solid understanding of embedded concepts and hardware abstraction layers
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP specifications (L1/PHY layer)
• Experience with physical layer channels (PDCCH, PDSCH, PBCH)
• Familiarity with L2/L3 protocols (MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC) is a plus
• Hands-on experience in debugging using logs and test equipment
• Ability to take ownership and drive solutions independently
