Job Summary

Cargill is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the GenAI Discovery and Prototyping team.

The engineer will help build and enhance a platform connecting enterprise data pipelines, Large Language Models (LLMs), and rapid application prototypes.

This is a true full-stack role involving C# backend development and React/TypeScript frontend development, with a strong focus on building reliable and secure applications that ingest, validate, process, and return LLM-generated outputs within an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable full-stack applications using C# on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend.
• Build applications that integrate Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Design reliable workflows for securely ingesting, validating, processing, and returning LLM outputs.
• Integrate enterprise data pipelines with AI-powered applications.
• Develop rapid prototypes and evolve them into reliable application solutions.
• Work across multiple staging and secure enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, AI, and business teams.
• Apply software engineering best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues.
• Adapt quickly to changing platform and prototype requirements.

Must-Have Requirements

• Senior-level Full Stack Software Development experience.
• Strong C# / .NET backend development experience.
• Strong React experience.
• Strong TypeScript experience.
• Hands-on experience building Generative AI / LLM-powered applications.
• Understanding of LLMs as statistical tools and their practical application in software solutions.
• Experience integrating applications with enterprise data pipelines.
• Experience designing secure and reliable data-processing/application workflows.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced prototyping environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Must be local to Wayzata, MN and able to work 2 days onsite per week.
