The Role

• Take responsibility for safeguarding and child protection within the school.
• Liaise with statutory and non-statutory agencies, parents/carers, and staff on matters of wellbeing and safety.
• Provide expert advice, support, and guidance to the team as a key source of expertise.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different locations for professional development and knowledge sharing.
• Work as part of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Head Teacher.

What You'll Need

• At least 3 years of experience in a Designated Safeguarding Lead role.
• A comprehensive portfolio of continuing professional development (CPD) related to Safeguarding and Child Protection.
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-resolution skills.
• A genuinely empathetic approach to working with young people and their families.
• A full UK driving license.
