Job Description

Role Summary
This position involves managing medium to large-scale projects through all phases of project lifecycle activities. The role requires application of various project management methodologies, effective planning, communication, and team management to ensure successful project delivery. Candidates will be responsible for coordinating resources, stakeholder engagement, and adhering to organizational and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and close projects of moderate to high complexity utilizing appropriate methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid approaches.
  • Develop project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and risks while ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including status reports, dashboards, and key metrics for PMO tracking.
  • Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Lead change management initiatives in accordance with organizational guidelines and best practices.
  • Monitor project progress, perform root cause and gap analyses, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Manage contract processes from initiation through closure, including vendor engagement.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and resource managers to acquire necessary project resources.
  • Ensure project activities comply with federal, state, or agency-specific policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of applicable project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing projects with varying methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid.
  • Proficiency with MS Project or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of PMI''s PMBOK Guide and standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction across all organizational levels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated change management skills and ability to facilitate group activities.

Publishing Pay Range: $55.00 to $62.50 hourly
