Senior DevOps Engineer

We're partnering with a fast-growing SaaS organisation that delivers critical services to thousands of users across the UK. As they continue to scale, they're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help shape the future of their cloud platform and developer ecosystem.

This is not a traditional infrastructure support role and is hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH). We're looking for an engineer with a strong software development, platform engineering or SRE background who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building scalable platforms, and enabling engineering teams to deliver software efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and build scalable platform solutions to support current and future product requirements
• Own and evolve Kubernetes-based environments, driving reliability, scalability and performance
• Partner closely with software engineering teams to improve developer experience and platform capabilities
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks
• Develop tooling and self-service capabilities for internal engineering teams
• Improve platform observability, monitoring and operational excellence
• Drive platform architecture decisions and engineering best practices

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps or Software Engineering
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise
• Linux administration and automation experience
• Software development or scripting experience (Python, Go, Bash or similar)
• Experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, GitOps and modern engineering practices

• ArgoCD
• Grafana and Prometheus
• Ansible
• AWS, Azure, GCP or OpenStack
• Experience working within SaaS environments
