Sr. EDI Analyst *remote contract*

Effective Date is seeking a highly skilled EDI Analyst to oversee and optimize B2B integration workflows, specifically focusing on the intersection of retail EDI and complex 3PL logistics. This role is critical for ensuring seamless data flow between trading partners, warehouses, and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Management: Design, implement, and maintain EDI maps and trading partner configurations within the SPS Commerce ecosystem.
• 3PL Operations: Act as the technical lead for Extensiv 3PL software, ensuring accurate data synchronization for warehousing, shipping, and inventory tracking.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Streamline logistics processes, including labeling requirements, advanced shipping notices (ASNs), and real-time inventory reporting.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Proactively monitor transmission logs, resolve mapping errors, and provide technical support for complex integration issues.
• Documentation: Fully document EDI environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with external trading partners and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer-specific requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience with SPS Commerce platforms and integration tools.
• Software Proficiency: Direct working knowledge of Extensiv 3PL software is essential.
• Industry Experience: 3+ years in warehousing, logistics, or shipping environments, with a firm grasp of inventory management and labeling standards.
