Year 2 Teacher – Permanent Role from January 2025

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator ready to inspire young learners? We are seeking a passionate Year 2 Teacher to join our supportive and welcoming school community starting in January 2025. About the Role:

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that motivate children to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with colleagues to create a vibrant, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where each child is valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a broad, balanced, and stimulating curriculum in line with the national standards for Year 2.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to learn.
  • Assess, record, and report on pupils’ progress, ensuring that all children are reaching their individual learning goals.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Contribute to the school’s ongoing development and success as a valued team member.

About You:

We are looking for a teacher who is:

  • Qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experienced in teaching Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2 (preferred).
  • Committed to making learning exciting, engaging, and fun for young children.
  • Able to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills, who is eager to collaborate with colleagues and parents.
