Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic Platform on behalf of our client in a Remote location. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in client-facing environments and enjoys building innovative AI-powered solutions. The selected candidate will work closely with enterprise clients to design, develop, and deploy intelligent agent workflows, transforming business processes through cutting-edge AI technology. This position offers the opportunity to influence platform evolution, develop reusable solutions, and contribute to large-scale AI adoption initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with clients and business stakeholders to understand operational workflows and identify opportunities for AI-driven automation.

• Design, develop, and deploy custom AI agents and agentic workflows in production environments.

• Rapidly prototype solutions, analyze outcomes, and refine implementations based on user feedback and business objectives.

• Translate complex technical concepts and tradeoffs for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Build reusable AI components, workflows, and frameworks that can be leveraged across multiple teams and projects.

• Collaborate with platform engineering teams to enhance platform functionality and drive continuous improvement.

• Develop and maintain scalable APIs, integrations, and cloud-based solutions supporting AI applications.

• Contribute to platform and product enhancements when required to support customer deployments.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the solution lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise environments.

• 10+ years of consulting, solutions delivery, or client-facing technical experience.

• 2+ years of experience leveraging AI-assisted software development practices.

• Hands-on experience building applications utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, or evaluation systems.

• Strong experience developing production-grade software, including APIs, integrations, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable technical solutions.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver results in fast-paced environments.

• Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing or contributing to AI agent frameworks, platforms, or developer ecosystems.

• Background in Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, Consulting, or startup environments.

• Knowledge of accounting, finance, or business operations workflows.

• Familiarity with processes such as financial reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, and reporting systems.

• Experience working with enterprise AI deployment and adoption initiatives.
