Senior Retail & Small Business Banker

Banner Bank is seeking a Banker III to build and manage complex client relationships in our community-focused branches. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, providing tailored banking solutions including deposits, consumer and small business loans, and treasury and cash management services. You will analyze financial information, underwrite loan requests within authority, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations. The Banker III mentors junior staff, supports branch sales goals, participates in community outreach, and consistently delivers high-touch, personalized service aligned with Banner Bank's values.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage complex retail and small business banking relationships
• Conduct financial needs assessments and recommend appropriate products and services
• Originate, analyze, and structure consumer and small business loans within authority
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, credit, and bank compliance standards
• Meet branch sales, cross-sell, and portfolio growth goals
• Provide exceptional client service and resolve issues promptly
• Collaborate with internal partners for treasury, mortgage, and wealth referrals
• Mentor and support junior bankers and branch staff
• Participate in community outreach and business development activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and use bank systems to manage pipelines and portfolios
