This employer is a leading global packaging company with a significant manufacturing presence. They are seeking an experienced Plant Controller to lead the accounting and financial planning & analysis functions for one of their largest, high-revenue manufacturing sites. This pivotal role partners closely with plant leadership to drive financial excellence and support strategic operational initiatives.

The Role

• Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including month-end close, general ledger management, and cost accounting.
• Drive material cost improvements and lead key analytical projects.
• Partner with plant leadership to provide strong financial guidance and support strategic initiatives.
• Develop financial policies, practices, and procedures with significant site-wide impact.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the site.
• Coordinate all audit activities and ensure compliance.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Financial Management within a manufacturing organization.
• Proven experience in managing reporting, budget development, general ledger, and audit coordination.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting systems.
