Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and interpret complex patient data and vital signs.
• Operate and manage specialized critical care equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team.
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in EPIC.
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies.
• Educate patients and families.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN).
• Licensure: Active New York State RN License; Current BLS & PALS certifications (ACLS preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Critical Care experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center.
• Technical Skills: Strong EMR experience (EPIC proficiency essential).
• Soft Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
