This employer is a leading technology solutions provider with a strong reputation in national security. They are seeking a driven Data Scientist to join a dynamic and expanding team that leverages cutting-edge techniques to address critical challenges. The Role

  • Build statistical and machine learning models, including natural language processing (NLP), to solve complex business problems.
  • Construct and execute intricate SQL queries across multiple databases and utilize API interfaces for data extraction.
  • Perform web scraping and apply techniques for processing unstructured data.
  • Leverage automation and machine learning for data management, scenario prediction, and generating data-driven recommendations.
  • Learn and implement technologies such as AWS and Git.
  • Develop solutions in a fast-paced environment critical to National Security.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills for data extraction from relational databases and APIs.
  • Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, including NLP libraries and tools (e.g., spaCy, Hugging Face, NLTK, TensorFlow).
  • Solid understanding of frequentist statistics, probability, predictive modeling, computer science concepts, data architecture, and statistical methods.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, or Matplotlib.
