JOB SUMMARY
Vaco is currently seeking a Senior AI Developer (Palantir AI Platform) for a Direct-Hire opportunity that may be performed remotely with travel to Irving, TX approximately 1–2 times per month. The Senior AI Developer will own the complete lifecycle of enterprise AI initiatives. Rather than building isolated machine learning models, the Senior AI Developer will work directly with business leaders to identify valuable use cases, design technical architectures, develop production-grade AI applications, deploy them into cloud environments, and ensure they remain secure, scalable, monitored, and governed over time. The Senior AI Developer will operate at the intersection of AI Engineering, Software Development, Cloud Engineering, MLOps, Solution Architecture, and Business Consulting, requiring someone who is equally comfortable writing production Python code, designing LLM applications, facilitating whiteboard sessions with executives, and measuring business value after deployment.

About the Project: This project is focused on operationalizing the organization''s investment in the Palantir AI Platform by building an enterprise AI capability that delivers measurable business value. The goal is to partner directly with business leaders to identify high-impact use cases, architect and deploy production-ready AI solutions, and establish the engineering, governance, and MLOps standards needed to scale AI across the enterprise. Rather than building isolated AI models or proof-of-concepts, you''ll create a repeatable AI delivery framework that enables the organization to leverage AI securely, effectively, and across multiple business functions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Enterprise AI Software Development (7+ years) – Developing Production Enterprise Applications Using Python While Designing / Deploying AI / ML Solutions with PyTorch / TensorFlow / scikit-learn
• Palantir Exposure – Exposure to Palantir Foundry / AIP / Ontology or Similar Enterprise AI Platforms | Ability to Learn Alongside Palantir Forward Deployed Engineers
• Enterprise LLM Development / MLOps – Designing RAG / Prompt Engineering / AI Agent / Copilot Solutions While Building Production AI Pipelines Supporting CI/CD / Deployment / Monitoring / Lifecycle Management
• Enterprise AI Cloud Platforms – Building Enterprise AI Solutions Across Azure AI Foundry / MS Fabric While Deploying Secure AI Workloads Across Azure / AWS / Google Cloud Platform
