Job description

  • Location: Appleton, WI

  • Hospital: Ascension St Elizabeth

  • Department: Imaging

  • Schedule: Weekends |Part-time

  • Perform routine and complex diagnostic imaging procedures by adjusting equipment and maneuvering transducers to capture high-quality images.
  • Identify critical pathology, anatomical structures and artifacts to deliver accurate clinical information for diagnostic evaluation.
  • Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance by executing strict quality control standards and routine equipment checks.
  • Submit high-quality images and diagnostic records promptly to PACS to enable seamless medical decision-making.
  • Maintain clean, organized procedure rooms and department spaces to foster a safe and comforting care environment
Licensure / Certification / Registration
  • Required Credential(s):
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • One or more of the following:
      • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
      • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to Sonography. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
      • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
      • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
      • Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
      • Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Work Experience
  • None required.
