Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect / Software Architect to design and deliver high-performing, scalable software solutions that support evolving business needs and exceptional customer experiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise application architecture, modern integration technologies, full-stack solutions, cloud platforms, streaming technologies, and containerized environments. This role requires a strong architectural mindset along with the ability to collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define solution and system architecture, technical direction, and technology roadmaps.
• Establish and apply architecture best practices and standards across software solutions.
• Design reusable, scalable frameworks and enterprise-level components.
• Evaluate technology options and provide first-level effort and cost assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop enterprise technology solutions.
• Support technology decisions by evaluating risks, costs, benefits, and ROI.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, planning, and technical discussions.
• Partner with Product Management, Domain Architects, and Lead Engineers to deliver solutions from concept through implementation.
• Serve as the primary technical solution architect for assigned teams, systems, and integrations.
• Act as a technical escalation point for architecture and integration-related issues.
• Drive continuous improvements across performance, security, automation, quality, monitoring, and platform reliability.
• Develop and maintain current-state and future-state architecture models and documentation.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, architectural trends, and industry best practices.
• Develop proof-of-concept solutions to validate new technologies and architectural approaches.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years focused on enterprise application architecture.
• Strong experience designing enterprise applications using modern integration technologies.
• Proven experience with end-to-end full-stack application architecture and SaaS/PaaS integration.
• Experience developing technology roadmaps covering a 3–5 year horizon.
• Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks, design patterns, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience evaluating and selecting technologies, platforms, and development tools.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineering team members.
• Experience working in a SAFe/Agile environment.
• Experience supporting multiple medium-to-large initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience with real-time streaming platforms at scale, such as Apache Kafka.
• Experience designing solutions using AWS or other public cloud platforms.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration platforms.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Java Full Stack development experience.
• Experience in the Retail / Supply Chain domain.
• Experience working with the CBX platform.
• Strong experience with enterprise integrations and distributed systems.
