The Orchard’s comprehensive artist & label services offerings include marketing, sync licensing, premium video services, transparent data analysis, advertising, rights management, radio promotion, D2C, and more.

The Orchard focuses on providing a comfortable, social, and engaging environment to encourage productivity and creativity.

The VP, Commerce, Latin-Iberia is an entrepreneurial commercial leader responsible for developing and executing the region’s commerce strategy across digital platforms, physical, direct-to-consumer, YouTube Ad Sales, and brand partnerships. The role will identify scalable growth opportunities, strengthen platform relationships, and translate market insight into measurable revenue for clients and the company.

Reporting to the SVP, Co-Managing Directors, Latin-Iberia, this executive will work in close partnership with Relationship Managers and territory leaders to align commerce priorities with each client’s objectives, release plans, and broader business strategy. Relationship Managers retain primary ownership of the client relationship and client communication; the VP, Commerce serves as their senior commercial partner, providing platform expertise, actionable insights, and tailored growth solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Regional Commerce Strategy: Build and own the Latin-Iberia commerce roadmap, operating model, and KPIs. Translate global company priorities into regionally relevant plans and ensure disciplined execution across territories.
  • Relationship Management Partnership: Partner closely with Relationship Managers to understand client objectives, release priorities, and business needs. Develop tailored commerce strategies and opportunities that strengthen client outcomes and drive revenue, while ensuring Relationship Managers retain primary ownership of the overall client relationship and communication.
  • Platform Strategy & Partnerships: Lead senior-level relationships and commercial strategy across DSPs and other key platforms. Shape regional platform priorities, secure high-impact opportunities, and build initiatives that improve visibility, engagement, monetization, and market share.
  • Multi-Channel Revenue Growth: Identify and execute opportunities across streaming, physical, D2C, YouTube Ad Sales, and brand partnerships. Connect these pillars into cohesive commercial plans tailored to each market and client.
  • Territory Leadership & Coordination: Work with local territory leaders and Commerce teams to establish priorities, share best practices, remove executional blockers, and ensure consistent regional standards while respecting local market dynamics.
  • Data, Insights & Scalable Execution: Partner with Analytics and business teams to embed data-driven decision-making into commercial planning. Use tools, automation, audience and platform insights, and performance reporting to identify opportunities and improve execution at scale.
  • Financial & Performance Accountability: Establish revenue targets, forecasts, and performance indicators for regional Commerce initiatives. Track results, communicate risks and opportunities, and recommend adjustments based on measurable business impact.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the regional Commerce team, fostering commercial creativity, accountability, collaboration, and a strong service mindset toward Relationship Management teams and clients

Who you are:

  • Industry Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience in music distribution, digital commerce, platform partnerships, commercial strategy, or related fields, including meaningful leadership responsibility.
  • Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of the Latin American and Iberian music markets, including their commercial dynamics, cultural differences, platform ecosystems, and client needs.
  • Platform & Channel Knowledge: Strong knowledge of DSPs and other commerce channels, including physical, D2C, and brand partnerships.
  • Relationship-Driven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence and deliver through partnership with Relationship Managers, territory leaders, clients, platforms, and cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience with revenue planning, forecasting, performance measurement, and the use of data and insights to prioritize opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Executive Communication: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex commercial ideas clearly and credibly to senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Languages: Professional fluency in English and Spanish required; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Travel & Availability: Availability to travel within the Latin-Iberia region as needed for meetings with clients and artists, business engagements, industry events, and awards ceremonies.

What We Give You
