Senior SharePoint Systems Administrator

Leidos is seeking a SharePoint Senior Administrator to lead the design, administration, and optimization of enterprise SharePoint environments supporting mission-critical government and commercial programs. In this role, you will manage on-premises and SharePoint Online, implement secure architectures, and integrate with Microsoft 365, Teams, and other enterprise platforms. Responsibilities include performance monitoring, troubleshooting, automation via PowerShell, migrations and upgrades, and enforcing governance and compliance. You will collaborate closely with cyber, infrastructure, and project teams, while mentoring junior staff and promoting best practices in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize SharePoint farms and online environments
• Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint sites, workflows, and content structures
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance across SharePoint platforms
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root-cause analysis
• Manage integrations with Microsoft 365, Teams, and other enterprise systems
• Automate administrative tasks using Power
• Shell and related tools
• Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and patching activities
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams on solutions
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
• Support end-users and provide guidance on SharePoint best practices
