We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer / Azure DevOpsfor a leading IT consulting client in Sydney.

This role will play a critical role in supporting the Cloud practice development and will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex cloud-based solutions for our clients, including leading banks, ASX-listed companies, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design,implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Developautomation scripts and tools to streamline processes and improveefficiency
  • Collaboratewith clients to understand their business requirements and developcustomized solutions
  • Providetechnical guidance and support to project teams
  • Provideexpertise in DevOps methodologies and best practices, including CI/CDpipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation.
  • Participatein the design and development of cloud-based solutions, working closelywith other teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and businessobjectives.
  • Manage,monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability andscalability.
  • Collaboratewith stakeholders to ensure that cloud solutions are designed withsecurity, reliability, and scalability in mind.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends andadvancements in cloud technology
Requirements
  • Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Atleast 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps
  • Expertisein Azure cloud infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Experiencewith automation tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, and Ansible
  • Strongunderstanding of networking, security, and identity management in thecloud
  • Knowledgeof containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experiencewith CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration and delivery.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to workeffectively in a team environment.
  • Abilityto work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus ondelivering results.
