The Role

• Operate heavy machinery to safely load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to precisely position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Utilize equipment like top loaders, side loaders, and cranes for stacking, moving, and organizing containers.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily moves and tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a secure and organized work environment by adhering to all established safety protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position.
• Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
