The Role • Operate CNC grinding machines to produce gears, pinion shafts, and gear shafts according to technical drawings and specifications. • Select appropriate clamping devices, set up measuring equipment, and manage tool and process data. • Read and interpret tool data and machining programs, determine reference points, and optimize machining processes. • Collaborate with department leads to establish process and clamping specifications, and assess the quality of ground gears. • Ensure the maintenance of machinery and workstations, and operate material handling equipment as needed. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a metalworker, cutting mechanic, or grinder. • Experience with Pfauter gear grinding machines is advantageous. • Familiarity with Siemens 840D pl/sl controls. • Technical understanding of conventional lathes. • Good command of German (spoken and written). • Ability to work in a 3-shift system.
