Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
Design and Develop Database Structures: Design and implement new database systems based on project requirements. Database structures to include tables, indexes, views, functions, and stored procedures.
Write Complex SQL Queries: Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and triggers using T-SQL.
Database Performance: Ensure the performance, security, and availability of databases.
Data Management Support: Provide data management support including data extraction and load of data related to engineering and construction.
Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, business analysts, corporate database analysts, and other developers to meet business needs.
Documentation: Prepare documentation and specifications for database design, coding, and testing.
Performance Tuning: Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and optimize database systems for efficiency.
Problem Resolution: Identify potential problems and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Stay Updated: Keep up with recent technological advancements and industry trends in database development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, information Systems, or a related field
Experience:
3+ years of experience in SQL Server development.
Strong knowledge of Transact-SQL (T-SQL), including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Experience with database design, data modeling, and normalization.
Familiarity with SQL Server tools (e.g., SSMS, Profiler, DTA).
Skills:
Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries withing the context of stored procedures
Ability to design and implement database schemas.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.
