Finance Transformation - FP&A Technology (Anaplan), Director

A leading global professional services and consulting firm is seeking a Director to lead its FP&A Technology practice, specializing in Anaplan-driven finance transformation.

The Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for setting strategic direction across client engagements, shaping how finance organizations use Anaplan to improve financial performance and decision-making. You will operate at the executive level, driving both client outcomes and business development for the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead development and implementation of financial performance management frameworks
  • Direct analysis of financial data to build KPIs and performance metrics that drive operational efficiency
  • Design and execute budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes aligned to client strategic objectives
  • Oversee integration of financial management software across client engagements
  • Advise clients at the executive level on cost reduction and financial forecasting strategy
  • Identify and lead process optimization and performance improvement initiatives
  • Present complex financial data through data visualization tools for executive audiences
  • Build and lead high-performing teams, mentoring senior staff and future practice leaders
  • Own executive-level client relationships and drive business development within the practice
  • Bring innovative, technology-forward solutions to FP&A engagements

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on Anaplan experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science/Analytics, Business Administration, Computer Science/Information Systems, or Risk Management/Insurance
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership in FP&A, with Anaplan as core technical foundation
