Job Description

  • Senior Kafka Engineer – Java/Spring Boot
  • Location: NYC, NY or Charlotte, NC – Hybrid (3 days onsite)
    Duration: 12+ months

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka.
  • 5+ yearsof experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures.
  • Strong experience with Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, microservices, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with Databricks and/or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, scalability, and high availability.
  • Experience with Capital Markets, Trading, Investment Banking, or Financial Services is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments is a plus.
  • Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
