Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager          
Location: Oklahoma City, OK - Hybrid - Minimum 3 days onsite per week 
Duration: 12+ Months
Position Review: 
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a Project Management Office (PMO) in Oklahoma City. The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, control, delivery, and closure of projects while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.
The Project Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for project resources, stakeholders, vendors, and project activities throughout the full project life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage medium to extra-large projects through the full project life cycle.
  • Utilize Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Develop project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Coordinate project resources and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, deliverables, and performance.
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, metrics, and executive communications.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings, project meetings, and group facilitation sessions.
  • Perform gap analysis and root-cause analysis and provide recommendations.
  • Identify and remove project blockers and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Ensure project activities comply with applicable organizational, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Manage contract activities from initiation through closure.
  • Support project implementation and formal project closeout.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience managing medium to large/complex projects.
  • Strong experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
  • Knowledge of PMI/PMBOK project management principles and standards.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and facilitating group discussions.
Work Schedule
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday
  • Standard working hours generally between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
  • Overtime is not approved
  • Minimum 3 days onsite per week in Oklahoma City
  • Additional onsite work may be required based on project needs
