Associate Data Science Analyst

IDR is seeking an Associate Data Science Analyst. The role is based remotely in the United States, specifically in Eagan, Minnesota, and involves AI modeling for vascular surgery imaging studies. This part-time, 6-month contract combines hands-on work with data analysis, machine learning model development, and collaboration with a team to support medical imaging research using Python, SQL, and R.
Position Overview for the Associate Data Science Analyst:

• Analyze vascular surgery imaging data using machine learning and statistical models.
  
• Develop and implement AI and deep learning algorithms, including neural networks and LSTM autoencoders.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand scientific challenges and data types.
  
• Utilize Python, SQL, R, and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
  
• Support model governance and ensure the accuracy of predictive analytics and forecasting.
  

Requirements for the Associate Data Science Analyst:

• Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, statistics, health science, or a related analytical field.
  
• Proven experience with data science methods, data types, and scientific challenges.
  
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and R programming languages.
  
• Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and related tools.
  
• Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, segmentation, and time-series forecasting.
