Role: Senior Oracle ADF Developer with Java Experience Required: 10+ Years Location: Johns Creek / Greater Atlanta, GA - Onsite Work Arrangement: Hybrid approximately 3 days onsite per week Visa Eligibility : H1B, -EAD, E3, OPT-EAD, TN only No -EAD profiles Employment Type: Contract (C2C/W2)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Oracle ADF / Java Modernization Developer with strong hands-on experience in Oracle ADF upgrades, Java modernization, WebLogic migration, enterprise integrations, and production application support. The ideal candidate will have experience modernizing mission-critical enterprise applications from legacy technology stacks to current versions of ADF 14c, Java 21, WebLogic 14c, and modern middleware.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute Oracle ADF upgrades from ADF 12c to ADF 14c.
Upgrade and remediate ADF Faces, ADF Business Components, task flows, bindings, and related application components.
Migrate and validate applications deployed on WebLogic 14.1.2.x.
Modernize enterprise Java applications from JDK 8 to Java 21/GraalVM.
Identify and remediate deprecated Java APIs and application dependencies.
Perform javax to jakarta migration and address related compatibility issues.
Handle JAXB, JTA, dependency, and framework changes during Java modernization.
Perform WebLogic 12c/14c administration, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot application, JVM, middleware, and deployment issues across enterprise environments.
Perform JVM tuning, including G1Zoptimization and performance troubleshooting.
Configure and troubleshoot SSL/TLS 1.3 compatibility and enterprise security requirements.
Support OCI-based application deployments and cloud modernization activities.
Upgrade and validate REST and SOAP integrations.
Perform Jersey framework migrations, including Jersey 1.x/2.x to 3.x.
Support and troubleshoot SFTP/SSH integrations, Quartz Scheduler, MyBatis, and other middleware components.
Analyze application dependencies and resolve compatibility issues during technology upgrades.
Develop and execute regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
Perform performance benchmarking and identify application bottlenecks.
Provide production support and resolve critical application defects in a timely manner.
Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, middleware, and business teams.
Support mission-critical HR and financial applications in a hybrid enterprise environment.
Participate in application modernization, migration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills
8 10+ years of enterprise application development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).
Proven experience upgrading Oracle ADF 12c to ADF 14c.
Strong experience with ADF Faces, ADF BC, task flows, bindings, and WebLogic deployments.
Strong Java modernization experience, including JDK 8 to Java 21.
Experience with Java 17/21 and preferably GraalVM.
Hands-on experience with javax to jakarta migration.
Experience handling JAXB, JTA, deprecated APIs, and enterprise Java dependencies.
Strong Oracle WebLogic 12c/14c administration and migration experience.
Experience with WebLogic 14.1.2.x is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of JVM tuning, G1 and ZGC.
Experience troubleshooting SSL/TLS 1.3 compatibility.
Experience with OCI-based deployments.
Strong experience with REST and SOAP web services.
Experience with Jersey framework migration, particularly 1.x/2.x to 3.x.
Experience with SFTP/SSH integrations.
Experience with Quartz Scheduler and MyBatis.
Strong enterprise middleware and integration troubleshooting skills.
Strong regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing experience.
Experience supporting mission-critical HR or financial applications.
Strong production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Note(Do not Submit):
Candidates with only L1/L2 production support or maintenance experience and no hands-on upgrade/migration development.
Junior ADF developers without enterprise-scale ADF/WebLogic migration experience.
Candidates whose experience is limited to legacy Java 6/7/8 maintenance without Java 17/21 modernization exposure.
Candidates unwilling to work hybrid/onsite in Atlanta.
Remote-only candidates.
Candidates without REST/SOAP/SFTP integration troubleshooting experience.
Candidates lacking experience with dependency remediation, SSL/TLS, or middleware troubleshooting.
