Must-Have Skills
1.Self starter with demonstrated ability to drive multiple cases to completion simultaneously across cross-functional teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities - holding the full picture of every engagement, following up persistently, escalating when needed, and closing every loop
2.Demonstrated ability to manage momentum across a portfolio of active projects with minimal day-to-day supervision - keeping every case advancing, and creating urgency for others when the next action sits with someone else
3.Experience proactively reporting status to a manager and stakeholders through written updates on a regular cadence, without being asked
4.Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to increase your own throughput and scale your coverage - identifying where they add value and owning the quality of the output
5.Ability to communicate quickly and clearly with peers, cross-functional stakeholders, and senior management, adapting style to the audience
6.Ability to make thoughtful judgment calls and act in ambiguous situations rather than waiting for direction
7.Track record of being detail-oriented and organized under a high volume of work
Nice-to-have Skills
1.Project or program management experience, including formal PM training or certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent)
2.Experience in procurement, sourcing, contracting, or vendor management - especially supporting research, R&D, or creative teams
3.Experience with case, ticket, or workflow management systems
4.Familiarity with UX research or research operations

Job Description

The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
• Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
• Direct, review and approve product designs and changes.
• Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.

• Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
