Data Governance Remote

Introduction

This position is for a Data Governance professional who will be responsible for overseeing data governance practices, particularly in relation to Snowflake. The individual will play a key role in ensuring data security, access control, and compliance within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement Snowflake Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to manage user permissions and access levels.
• Define and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data governance meets business needs.
• Design and implement purpose-based roles to restrict access based on job functions.
• Conduct access testing and validation to ensure proper access controls are in place.
• Utilize strong analytical and communication skills to communicate data governance principles effectively.
