Senior Scrum Master
Location: Chicago, Illinois (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support new, high-visibility initiatives. This role involves working across internal business and technology teams, vendor partners, and other stakeholders to facilitate Agile ceremonies, organize team delivery, and remove impediments. The successful candidate will help guide teams through discovery, requirements gathering, and solution planning in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint activities, and team organization.
• Organize, coordinate, and track team delivery and execution.
• Remove blockers and impediments to ensure team progress.
• Coordinate work between internal teams and vendor resources.
• Help guide the team through discovery, requirements gathering, and solution planning.
• Support the establishment of Agile practices and team structure.
• Keep teams aligned and focused on outcomes.

Required Qualifications
Experience: 4-7 years of experience as a Scrum Master is preferred. Experience with digital products such as online banking, mobile banking, or similar customer-facing platforms is required. Candidates must have the ability to work in dynamic, evolving environments and navigate changing priorities.
Skills: Strong stakeholder management, communication, and team facilitation skills are required. The role requires comfort navigating vendor and internal partnerships and the ability to balance Agile best practices with business needs.
Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Salesforce experience.
• Project or Program Management exposure.

This position supports large, cross-functional teams in a setting that is newly established and evolving. The role requires a self-starter who can work independently, build structure, and solve problems. You will work across internal business and technology teams, vendor teams, UX/UI resources, developers, and testers.
