Field Service Engineer - Forklifts
Location: Croydon, Greater London
Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 Basic Salary (OTE - £50,000+)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (42.5 Hour Week)

Interaction Technical are working in partnership with a leading material handling and forklift specialist to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer covering the surrounding areas.

Based on a £37,000 Basic Salary
- 5 Hours Overtime per Week @ 1.5x
Approx. Additional Earnings: £6,500 per year
Total Earnings: £43,500+
- 10 Hours Overtime per Week @ 1.5x
Approx. Additional Earnings: £13,000 per year
Total Earnings: £50,000+
Based on a £42,000 Basic Salary
- 5 Hours Overtime per Week @ 1.5x
Approx. Additional Earnings: £7,400 per year
Total Earnings: £49,400+
- 10 Hours Overtime per Week @ 1.5x
Approx. Additional Earnings: £14,800 per year
Total Earnings: £56,800+
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will work from home attending customer sites throughout your designated territory, carrying out planned maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks
- Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
- Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Repairing (Diesel, Petrol, LPG, Electric) engines, drive systems, hydraulics and electrical components
- Recording all work completed via engineer reports
- Managing your workload efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
