Job Description

  • LAN/WAN/CAN
  • SATCOM, VoIP Job Description:
  • Providing day to day operational routing and switching support with hands on experience with Cisco Routers and Switches, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, RIP, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot routing protocols and end-to-end network performance from the Local Area Network (LAN) through a Wide Area Network (WAN), to a Campus Area Network (CAN).
  • Willingness to cross train and support multiple technologies in an operational environment including SATCOM, Voice, VDI/Virtualization.
  • Support the system adherence to industry standards, DOD standards, DOD policies, DOD instructions, DOD directives, cybersecurity policies, and best commercial practices. • Utilize ticketing systems for detailed documentation of outages and network change activities.
  • Provide technical problem resolution for a wide range of network infrastructure problems or anomalies.
  • This position requires flexibility to support 24x7 Network Operations including 12 hour shifts as required. • This position requires an active DoD Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI) or the ability to be obtain an (Interim Secret, Interim Top Secret)
