Position: Business Development Executive (BDE)

Industry: Agri Drones / Agricultural Technology

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Business Development Executive to drive business growth in the Agri Drone sector. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, generating leads, and expanding market presence across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the agriculture and agri-tech sectors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with farmers, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), agri-input dealers, distributors, government agencies, and corporate clients.
  • Generate and qualify leads through field visits, networking, events, exhibitions, and digital channels.
  • Conduct product presentations and drone demonstrations for prospective customers.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and technical teams for seamless customer onboarding and project execution.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and business opportunities in CRM systems.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Channel Development, preferably in Agri-Tech, Agricultural Equipment, Farm Machinery, Drones, Precision Agriculture, or Agri Inputs.
  • Strong understanding of the agricultural ecosystem and rural markets.
  • Experience in handling B2B and B2C business development activities.
