We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and hands-on experience integrating AI/Generative AI capabilities into backend applications.

This role requires a strong technical background in backend architecture, distributed systems, API development, system integration, and modern AI-powered application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 8/11/17/21.
• Architect and implement Microservices-based applications using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Design and develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Build integrations with internal and external applications, databases, and third-party services.
• Develop scalable and resilient distributed systems.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions and provide recommendations on technology, integration patterns, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain backend services that integrate with AI and Generative AI platforms.
• Integrate LLM capabilities into enterprise applications using platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Claude, or Gemini.
• Build backend services supporting AI use cases such as:
  • Intelligent search
  • AI assistants
  • Document processing
  • Summarization
  • Question-answering systems
  • Enterprise chatbots
• Develop and integrate RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
• Work with embeddings, vector search, and semantic retrieval.
• Implement application security, authentication, and authorization.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, resiliency, observability, and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and establish backend development standards.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform Root Cause Analysis.
• Collaborate with Architects, DevOps, Data Engineers, AI Engineers, QA teams, and Product teams.
