Controls Engineer

Job Description:

·         Must have SCADA Allen Bradley and ignition experience.

·         Support the installation and commissioning of data center Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS).

·         Verify and troubleshoot control system I/O wiring to ensure proper connectivity and signal integrity.

·         Perform field calibration of instrumentation as required to maintain accurate measurements and system performance.

·         Conduct loop testing of device data points to confirm that each point is correctly integrated with the SCADA system.

·         Execute functional testing of control systems comprised of PLCs, HMIs, and vendor systems to validate operation and performance.

·         Document testing progress, procedures, and results using spreadsheets and online tracking tools such as BIM360 and CxAlloy.

·         Perform general system troubleshooting, including network issues, wiring issues, data point mapping issues, and operational issues.

·         Identify, correct, and debug control system problems to ensure reliable and stable system operation.

·         Collaborate with project teams and site personnel to support successful commissioning and turnover of data center control systems.
