Maintenance Engineer Our client, a leading processing and manufacturing company are in search of an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their highly reputable company. Working Hours Mon-Fri: 6:45am 4pm 3 Things to know about the role Attractive salary Overtime at enhanced rate It is in a highly reputable firm Job Duties Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to identify any issues or potential problems Perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimise equipment breakdowns Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities with external contractors as needed Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any maintenance-related concerns Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed Adhere to quality standards set by the company and external bodies e.g. BRC. Adhere to Health and Safety, Hygiene and security procedures. Successful candidate must have: Strong mechanical & electrical knowledge and experience in maintaining industrial equipment Experience in PLCs would be desirable Three years previous experience in a similar role Team player, able to work with others and achieve results. Experience in multi-disciplinary & cross-functional teams Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. Being flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the business.
