Front-End Developer & UI/UX Consultant with Security Clearance

Graham Technologies is seeking a Front-End Developer & UI/UX Consultant to design, configure, and implement modern web solutions that address business and user needs. This role combines front-end development, UI/UX design, technical consulting, platform configuration, and project ownership. The ideal candidate can translate requirements into intuitive, scalable web experiences and support solutions from concept through deployment.

Location: Washington, DC Metro Area - Hybrid; remote/WFH may be considered for an exceptional candidate

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business and user requirements into functional web solutions.
• Design and develop responsive web applications, portals, websites, dashboards, and digital experiences.
• Develop and customize solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP when applicable.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, user flows, and production-ready interfaces.
• Apply UI/UX best practices for usability, accessibility, responsive design, and visual consistency.
• Configure and customize enterprise SaaS, CMS, portal, and other web-based platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, analysts, and project teams to define and implement solutions.
• Manage implementations from requirements and design through testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications and troubleshoot technical and UX issues.
• Apply WCAG and Section 508 accessibility principles where applicable.
• Use AI tools to support development, prototyping, troubleshooting, research, and productivity.

Required Skills: Experience

• Professional experience developing web solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing responsive web-based solutions and applying UI/UX principles.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
• Experience working with configurable platforms, SaaS applications, CMS platforms, or similar technologies.

Clearance

• Ability to meet minimum Public Trust, Tier 2 requirements.

Desired Skills

• Development / Design:
• PHP experience.
• Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar UI/UX tools.
• Experience with APIs, JSON, integrations, and Git/version control.
