Job Description
Huntington Maintenance, a division of Farbman Group, is seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position travels to assigned commercial properties to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. The Mobile Maintenance Technician helps ensure each property remains safe, functional, and well maintained for tenants and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to assigned commercial properties to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building issues.
- Respond promptly to service requests and maintenance emergencies.
- Monitor building systems and equipment for proper operation.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, equipment status, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and applicable building codes.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and assigned vehicle in good working condition.
- Communicate regularly with property managers and supervisors regarding property needs and completed work.
- A company vehicle will be provided for travel to assigned properties
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- At least three years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in commercial properties.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of applicable safety standards and building codes.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call and weekends, as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to travel between assigned properties using a company-provided vehicle.
