Job Description

Oberarzt (w/m/d) Unfallchirurgie | Neuss, Germany | On-site We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Physician to join a leading hospital group renowned for its specialized surgical and orthopedic care. This is an opportunity to actively contribute to operative quality, medical education, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a significant healthcare provider that serves a large patient population annually, handling both outpatient and inpatient needs across multiple certified centers of excellence. The Role • Participate actively in general trauma surgery consultations within the trauma surgery department. • Manage patients with the full spectrum of trauma surgery needs in a primary and secondary care setting, including initial and ongoing treatment. • Independently perform surgical procedures for both outpatient and inpatient cases, ensuring comprehensive pre- and post-operative care. • Support medical documentation through dictation and act as a representative in the "Durchgangsarzt" (examining physician for work accidents) procedures. • Participate in the on-call duty roster for senior physicians to ensure continuous trauma surgery coverage. What You'll Need • Completed specialist training as a Physician in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery or Special Orthopedics/Trauma Surgery. • Proven experience in performing common trauma surgery procedures and working within interdisciplinary emergency care. • Desire for professional development or initial experience in a senior physician role, ideally with completed courses for the D-Arzt procedure. • Willingness to take responsibility for organizational and content-related processes and actively contribute to the advancement of trauma surgery. • A compassionate, respectful demeanor, strong teamwork skills, initiative, and flexibility.
