Procurement Process Designer/Analyst

6-12 month contract - with good potential for extension

Summary

Support a procurement transformation initiative by analyzing current processes, designing improved future-state workflows, and helping implement new procurement tools and ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Document current-state procurement and sourcing processes
• Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, controls, and improvement opportunities
• Design and document future-state workflows
• Gather and translate business requirements
• Work across Procurement, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, IT, and business stakeholders
• Support procurement system implementation, testing, training, and adoption
• Develop process maps, procedures, business rules, and supporting documentation
• Support areas including intake, sourcing, supplier onboarding, approvals, contracting, purchasing, and P2P

Experience

• Strong procurement, sourcing, P2P, or procurement operations experience
• Business process analysis/design and process improvement
• Procurement technology implementation or enhancement experience
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering
• Experience with Zip or similar procurement platforms preferred
• Arkestro experience a plus
• Coupa, SAP Ariba, GEP, SAP, Oracle, or similar experience beneficial

We need an analyst who understands procurement operations, can work with stakeholders to design better processes, and can translate those processes into practical workflows, requirements, documentation, testing, and user adoption.
