Job Description

O’Hagan Meyer seeks an attorney with at least 3 years of civil litigation experience to join our Hermosa Beach office. The ideal candidate will have experience litigating in some or all of the areas of employment, business/commercial litigation, professional liability, premises liability, and/or directors & officers defense. This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney looking to handle a wide-range of civil litigation matters involving cutting-edge topics and sophisticated, interesting clients.

  • 3+ years of experience in civil litigation (preferred experienced in employment or commercial litigation)
  • This role requires legal research, drafting of pleadings motions and other documents, taking and defending depositions, drafting and answering discovery requests, trial preparation and trial assistance. Experience with both state and federal courts preferred.
  • This position also requires the ability to communicate with both clients and colleagues in an effectively.
  • This position will require some local travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections and depositions.
  • Admission to the state bar of California required.

Salary Range: $155,000 to $200,000
