Job description
About the Role
Build and operate the security infrastructure behind an enterprise AI platform. As an early engineer at the intersection of platform and security, you will shape secure infrastructure patterns, automation, and self-service tooling that help teams build and operate services confidently.
What You'll Do
Design secure, multi-tenant infrastructure that isolates customer data while supporting efficient AI model serving.
Create secure service templates, libraries, Terraform policies, and automation that make services production-ready by default.
Own infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices, including reusable modules and policy-as-code.
Develop and operate capabilities for detection, secrets management, IAM, and automated remediation, integrating them with CI/CD and developer workflows.
Partner with security, infrastructure, and product engineering teams to turn enterprise and compliance requirements into reliable technical controls.
Participate in security on-call and improve observability, runbooks, and incident response practices.
What We're Looking For
At least 4 years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience, with security engineering exposure or a strong interest in security.
Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge in GCP and/or AWS, including networking, IAM, compute, and security services.
Production experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, Kubernetes, and secure container deployment.
Proficiency in Python, Go, TypeScript, or another systems-oriented language, with experience building developer tools and automation.
Familiarity with service mesh, observability, incident response, and AI-assisted developer tools.
Experience translating requirements such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR into technical controls is valuable.
