Sales Support / Customer Support / Administration / telecom

Overview

Our client is seeking an organised and proactive Sales Support Administrator to join their dynamic sales team.
This role will play a vital part in supporting the telecommunications / telcoms Business Development and Sales teams by managing data, coordinating administration, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for customers.

You ll act as a central point of contact between internal teams, suppliers, and clients helping drive efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities as the sales support administrator

  • Maintain and update the CRM system (HubSpot)

  • Develop a strong understanding of the organisation s internal processes and products

  • Support the Business Development and Sales teams throughout the sales process

  • Build and nurture relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and clients

  • Track client progress through the sales pipeline

  • Resolve issues and queries related to new client applications efficiently and professionally

  • Assist with document preparation, reporting, and ad-hoc administrative tasks

Experience & Skills Required for the sales administrator position

  • CRM experience (HubSpot, or similar)

  • Previous experience in administration, sales support and telecomunications / telcoms / broadband.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook); experience with mail merges

  • Confident telephone manner and professional communication style

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Positive, proactive, and can-do attitude

  • Desire to learn and develop within the company
