Finance Business Analyst/ D365 Specialist

Support finance transformation and business optimisation through hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance configuration, troubleshooting and process improvement.
We re looking for an experienced Finance Business Analyst / D365 Functional Consultant to join a large, complex organisation, supporting ongoing improvements to its finance systems and business processes.
This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity, with potential for a longer engagement, working closely with finance stakeholders and technical teams to enhance system functionality, resolve issues and support the next phase of a broader D365 transformation program.
You ll combine finance process knowledge with hands-on D365 functional expertise, helping bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions to improve finance operations and workflows.
About the Role

• Provide functional support across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Configure and optimise finance processes, workflows and system functionality.
• Investigate and resolve system issues, bugs and functional problems.
• Support ongoing system enhancements and business process improvements.
• Work with finance stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Support workflows covering contracts, quotations, purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Contribute to the next phase of a wider finance transformation program.

About You

• You re a techno-functional professional who understands both finance operations and the systems that support them.
• Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance experience is essential.
• Background in Finance Business Analysis, D365 Functional Consulting or Finance Systems.
• Hands-on experience with functional configuration, troubleshooting and system enhancements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate finance requirements into practical system solutions.
• Experience across supply chain or procurement processes will be highly regarded.
• CPA/CA or relevant finance qualifications will be advantageous.
